Known for his emotionally complex compositions, deep-progressive house virtuoso Enviado Vida has been a frequent label contributor of late, including several recent releases under his Aftruu guise. His latest offering is the exceedingly beautiful "Best Of Times" EP, featuring the poignant title cut and equally stirring B-side, "Begin."

Enviado Vida's transcendent "Best Of Times" begins with ethereal pads and the trills of tribal percussion. Beams of radiant sunlight pierce through a tropical canopy of sound, as the listener basks in his lush surroundings. The arrangement gently crescendoes, with each new layer of sound enhancing the track's weightless, euphoric vibes. After an infinitely blissful breakdown section, the arrangement builds up once more to glorious effect.

As the night falls upon the tropical landscape of "Best Of Times," a deeper intonation reveals itself with "Begin," the B-side of Enviado Vida's triumphant release. The track flickers like a flame with distinctive percussive, atmospheric, and vocal effects. An intoxicating, underlying melodic motif pulls the listener in to perceive the fire from a closer angle. The moody and, ultimately, moving aura of this composition is quintessential Enviado Vida, an artist whose bleeding-edge, hyper emotive sound design is truly unique in the global deep and progressive house arenas.

Just found the sound iv'e been searching for so long. I wondered when I would listen to ambient tones and melody that combines this perfect symmetric sound. True art. A whole new world for many curious listeners out there.
